The Challenge

We were appointed as Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial advice and contractual support to the Contract Administrator on a live project to validate the cost of the developing design against the available budget. On our advice the construction works were suspended to allow design to be completed and properly costed.

Achievements 

We have augmented a provisional cost plan based on agreed value engineering options. We are currently in the process of validating affordability against the available budget aligned with Client aspirations. In addition we have set up a pre-construction services agreement to allow some works to continue, whilst the contract sum is established.
